I bought this book in an airport and I thought it was the typical bestseller that would keep me entertained during the flight and little more. And I was quite surprised when I found myself wanting to read more and more.

The book tells us the story of Nathaniel and his summoning of a very powerful djinn, Bartimeus. Nathaniel is a young wizard, very yound and unexperienced, and Bartimeus is one of the most powerful beings, very old and with tons of experience. It is very difficult for Nathaniel to control such a strong djinn, but it must be done in order to achieve his goal…

I found the story very interesting and I liked the way it is told, by jumping from Nathaniel’s perspective to Bartimeus’. I recommend this book, specially to all fantasy readers and as for me, I’m going to buy the second and third book

I have it!!! After an hour and a half queuing the last book of Harry Potter is waiting for me on the table

It has been much longer than the queue for the Order of the Phoenix movie and I still don´t know whether it was worth it or not.. but I´ll know it soon enough!

Doors are opening…

WaterStones in Oxford Street is finally open!

The queue was really long and the store stayed open for more than two hours, instead of the planned one.

We are finally there! And the children’s cover reminds me of Terry Pratchet´s books..

Some Spaniards disguised as Hogwarts’ students. It seems the queue in Picadilly Circus was spectacular and they decided to try luck in other store.
