Today the women’s team tournament begins!
We have played the first round so far, against DPR Korea and lost all 3 games 
We are in a tough group, A2, and we’ll do our best!
Let’s hope we’ll have better luck for the following games. Gambarimasu!

Monday, October 6th, 2008We spent some time today at the WMSG, watching the games (only the first 20 mins allowed ) and cheering on the Spanish team. Go Spain!!

Welcome to Beijing!
Sunday, October 5th, 2008I will spend the next two weeks in Beijing: the first one sightseeing and the second one competing at the 1st World Mind Sport Games!
So far, the flight was ok and I arrived safetly at Beijing. However, arriving to the hotel proved to be much more difficult. Language is a real issue, specially when people don’t even understand the maps! If the map doesn’t have the names written with Chinese characters, the chance of a taxi driver understanding it is almost 0
Anyway, after eating ramen in a Japanese restaurant I feel much happier and ready for the adventure
